Robin studied Rural Estate Management at The Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester and received the Royal Agricultural Society of England’s gold medal for agriculture.
He then later became a Partner at Strutt and Parker Estate Agency, working for four years selling property in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset.
In 1982, he opened the Exeter office for Strutt and Parker and, for over 30 years, worked in the property sector in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. During that time he was fortunate to have sold and bought some of the finest estates, farms and country houses throughout the South West of England.
Robin has a deep-set passion for property and gets a genuine thrill out of meeting people and helping them by understanding their remit, locating the right property for them and completing the deal by negotiating the most favourable terms on their behalf. He believes in building an understanding and relationship with his clients and has been fascinated during his time with Recoco at the diverse nature of the properties he has been exposed to, many of which have been off market, when in searching on behalf of his clients.
Married to Jean, the couple live on a farm in the Exe Valley spending quality time walking their two Border Terriers. They are members of a friendly bridge group, enjoy opera and choral music, travel and spending time with their five grandchildren.
