Growing up on a family farm in The Cotswolds and joining his father’s land and estate agency business Nigel gained the knowledge and qualifications to acquire a partnership in the long established Devon based Chartered surveyors, Rickeard Geen and Michelmore in 1976. Eventually owning the business outright he expanded it to seven offices in Devon and Cornwall prior to selling it in 1999. The extensive contacts acquired enabled Nigel to open one of the first Buying Agencies in the country, initially covering Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset. The business grew organically as further qualified property professionals joined so 25 years later Recoco is a leading player covering the south of England.
Nigel lives in rural Devon whilst spending time in London and across the counties covered by Recoco. In recent years, Recoco has become more family orientated as his daughter has become a more integral part of the business managing the marketing post her Advertising degree.
Still playing a key role with clients searching for special properties Nigel is always thrilled when a client completes the purchase on a house saying “I love it”!
