Sun, Sea and Sand
“Staycation”: a new word for a new era: Whilst foreign travel will potentially open up this year there is no guarantee so UK destinations will see a surge in visitors, and Devon and Cornwall, more than most due to the (usually) good climate, the amazing countryside and miles of sandy beaches. No longer a case of just fish and chips the hospitality venues offer an eclectic mix of menus equal (and often in excess) of the variety found in many world destinations. So, no airport queues -maybe a few traffic jams en-route – but it will be worth it.
Devon is a destination in itself: By no means left behind in business - attracting many national and international companies to base themselves here - whilst retaining the core integrity of the county. Once here it’s a hard county to leave!
Devon -a county of two coastlines hosting the major section of the South West Coast Path – two National Parks, a Cathedral City, international port and many market towns retaining their cultural heritage bustling with independent artisan goods. So much more to offer than just the beaches with things to do for all generations, abilities and tastes.
As it’s summer let’s stick to the seaside for now. North Coast -rugged, dramatic cliffs and hidden coves -world famous surfing beaches. South Coast – balmy sands as far as the eye can see, perfect sailing waters, lush green meadows rolling down to the water’s edge. Then the World Heritage East Devon Jurassic coastline -softer countryside against a dramatic backdrop. Your choice.
Maybe your “staycation” will inspire you to move to this wonderful county. Only by living the dream will you get the real sense of the lifestyle. Devon offers an amazing eclectic mix of property to suit all budgets – classic thatched cottages, country houses, farms, apartments, new builds with all the technology you can imagine.

What a county! The perfect holiday destination but even better to stay permanently - listen to the morning birdsong, the lapping waves if you’re lucky to be near enough to the water – fresh air! OK -so the nearest take way may not be round the corner but the pace of life more than balances it. Home in an idyllic environment - It’s all about coming home.
